Gateley Plc is the legal business of law-led professional services group Gateley. Its Nottingham office is at Park View House on The Ropewalk.
Andy Matthews, Real Estate partner and head of Gateley Plc’s Nottingham office, said:
“Hoodwinked is a great initiative which will attract many visitors to the region; families and art fans alike. We’ve seen the success of other Wild in Art sculpture trails in different towns and cities and I’m delighted that Nottingham is now hosting its own to support Nottinghamshire Hospice. We think it’s important to get involved in initiatives that support the communities in which we work and so we’re proud to be sponsoring such a creative and community spirited event. I look forward to seeing our robin sculpture soon!”
The Hoodwinked trail will run in the city centre from 7 July to 30 September. It’s a twist on the tale of Robin Hood, transforming Nottingham’s iconic outlaw into the form of robins, each one uniquely designed and decorated by artists.
There will be around 30 sculptures on the trail, each sponsored by a business. The sculptures will be auctioned in October 2018 to raise money for Nottinghamshire Hospice.
Gateley Plc’s support for Hoodwinked has been welcomed by Councillor Dave Trimble, Nottingham City Council’s Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture. He said:
“Hoodwinked will be a great boost for Nottingham, attracting thousands of tourists and encouraging residents to take a fun fresh look at their own city. We are delighted that Gateley Plc has joined the growing list of sponsors who are supporting this great event and we look forward to working with them over the coming months.”
Gateley Plc’s specialist teams cover all aspects of legal services, including corporate, commercial, banking, real estate, restructuring, technology, construction, employment, pensions, dispute resolution, regulatory, private wealth and family, residential conveyancing, tax, and shipping and transport, as well as global mobility which encompasses the management of the selection and relocation of employees for international assignments.
Hoodwinked is led by Nottingham City Council in partnership with Wild in Art, a leading creative producer of spectacular free public art events through the creation of uniquely-painted sculptures.
